Question :
I have silverwares such as spoons and forks, unfortunately they are black speckled. As far as I know, blackish silverwares can be polished to make them silvery shine again. How to do it?
Answer :
I usually polish my silverwares in traditional way as follows:
-Put the silverwares into boiled water; add a spoonful baking soda, salt and aluminum paper. Wait for about 15 minutes, then, dry them with a dry and soft cloth.
-A white toothpaste can also be used to polish your silver accessories. Apply a small amount of the toothpaste on the accessories with our finger; wait for a couple of minutes, then, clean it with a smooth cloth (similar to one we use to clean an LCD surface)
For Brass:
-Dirty brass can be cleaned by rubbing them with diluted vinegar or Brasso, unfortunately, if we have a lot of brass, it will costs us too much since its expensive [dhy]
